Education For Youth had been working on the rehabilitation of the North East Delhi 2020 pogrom sur- vivors from Shiv Vihar, Khajoori Khas & Karawal Nagar areas when the lockdown shut out all our activities. But the lockdown brought another very acute crisis upon the survivors Type to enter a caption. who had just started rebuilding their lives. They are now fighting with this medical lock- down without food and basic essentials. There are also very many daily wagers and labourers who are suddenly jobless and hence penny less. And they cannot fight hunger & disease together. So EFY is trying to reach out to as many daily wagers, labourers and survivors in North East Delhi to help them buy ration & essentials. Food & medicines is priority at this time and we are doing this in multiple ways with all legal permissions and extreme precautions

Education For Youth undertook multiple blanket distribution drives for Needy families that live in Slums and sleep on the streets in Delhi.

Education For Youth also conducted a sleeping bag distribution drive in collaboration with Pratyek where we distributed sleeping bags to daily wagers, labourers, homeless & rickshaw pullers in January 2020.

Education For Yout has undertaken clothes distribution drives for underprivileged people.

Our aim was to distribute clothes to the underprivileged people at Shahranpur Slums as the people living there are living in extreme poverty. The basic aim of the drive is to provide clothes to those people who are in need and collect clothes from those people who are willing to donate.
